Bo Agri Pak Trading CC was established in the year 2002 as a close corporation with foreign investors. The total investment over the period of three years amounts to R2 million. The undertaking intends import and export of textile products for the local and exports markets of neighbour country

The business is going to establish branches in neighbouring countries like Lesotho, Botswana and Namibia. Office space and warehouse will be approximately 1500 square meters for storage of imported stock, as well as exported stock neighbouring countries.

The fundamental strategies of the business are of the utmost importance as they establish the general standards, which the business wishes to adhere to, the focus of the business and give guidance to the personnel as to the goals of the undertaking. Strategies should be kept to the minimum and should be simple and clear if they are to be effective. For this reason the business has expressed five primary strategies. The following explict strategies as being relevant to its business:

1. Products of high value will be the production focus, the business will be quality and price driven rather than quality driven,


2. Products that are scarce and/or have high demand will be the focus and optimum use of resources available,


3. Products and services must comply with the requirements of the consumer in respect of quality of conformance,


4. A basket of products will be produced so that cash flow through the year is more consistent and to balance out periods of low prices with one product against high prices for another,


5. Since the business is people driven skilled and competent, personnel will be appointed.
